My name is Jackie I moved this past May from nj to fl and I was a very stressed due to relocating to a new place with no help.. The rep I spoke to helped me a great deal Alex was great she went over all my options and I chose the full packing .. The guys took care of everything I didn't even have to buy one box as it was all included in the price .. The delivery just came in two days ago and I must just say I'm so glad it's all over .. And I'm a happy camper.. I highly recommend New York Local Movers the guys are great !!

I highly recommend New York Local Movers for any one working with a tight budget. The service and prices was within my budget .I was a little worried about hiring a moving company after hearing all the horror stories about being overcharged and furniture being broken.  After talking with the owner he reinsured me that my furniture will be well taken care of and carefully wrapped to avoid any chipping or dings. To my surprise he's movers did exactly what he promised Jimmy and Ruben were great they took their time wrapping up all my glass and wooden furniture and carefully loaded and unloaded my things within the given time. They were awesome!!

New York Local Movers are fantastic, I highly recommend! My roomy and I moved into a walk-up and the three guys owned those stairs. They brought a couch, two mattresses, two bed frames, a bunch of full length mirrors, a bunch of random boxes and other miscellaneous stuff up three flights with no complaints.  It was so quick and easy.  The guys were friendly and professional, were right on time in the morning and went strait to wrapping up breakables and packing everything into the van (make sure you tip those guys well, they do a lot of hard work!).  The whole thing only took about two hours. On top of all that wonderful-ness they are so reasonably priced - we didn't have to spend a fortune to move!

I moved from NJ to FL. I got calls from a lot of companies, New York Local Movers really stood out. My representitive was very helpful and detailed when it came to the whole move. The day they came to pick up my items everything went smooth. The men looked at everything I had as I was told on the phone by my rep. I was a little over but I knew I would have additional boxes. I spoke to the manager and she made sure I felt comfortable with my new contract. I would recommend this company to anyone! .

The thought of moving terrified me. You hear so many horror stories. I was contacted by so many companies I didn’t know where to begin. Once I did my research and got my inventory together I took a deep breath and began looking online. First off most company reviews were pretty bad some good. I spoke with Manisha from New York Local Movers and she was very, very helpful. She basically lets just say “kept it real” and told me what was included and what wasn’t so I had no surprises the day of the move. I had everything packed and ready to go. The moving men were really nice and professional. I have no complaints for this company. I will use them again any day!

NEW YORK LOCAL MOVERS YOU GUYS ARE EVERYTHING SOMEONE LOOKS FOR IN A MOVING COMPANY! We recently moved from New Jersey to Utah. They were truly professional about the whole move from start to finish. The mover work non-stop. I asked them to take a few breaks, but they wanted to get my move done and I was shocked that they took my move as serious as they did. They took apart all my items and put them back together when the arrived in my new home. Although I told then it was okay if they didn't reassemble my items they said they are doing what I paid for that made me happy I chosen them. They wrapped all my furniture in moving blanket and I had no damage to anything. Did I mention that this was on a Sunday? While getting quotes, they were the only ones who agreed to a Sunday without hesitation. An excellent job. I would like to thank you New York Local Movers for such a great move. If you are looking for a good moving company I would go with these guys they get the job done right and on time.

I have moved with several companies throughout my career and I have to state for sure, this has been the best move ever. Not only was New York Local Movers pleasant to work with initially, it continued with the staff of the company throughout the months leading up to the day of the move. Making phone and email contact with Safi . several times for boxes, disconnection/reconnection instructions from a 3rd party, to the people delivering boxes to the residence, has been pleasant.
On the day of the move, shady (driver) and his crew were extremely pleasant and were looking forward to getting the truck loaded for us. They wanted a tour of the house before they started, and took matters into their own hands from there. They answered questions for us, made packing suggestions, and indicated they were taking particular care of the items we were concerned about. They handled those items with extreme care coming out of the house as well as being loaded into the truck. Even though it took two days to load, the staff representing your company were professional at all times.
When the furniture arrived here in Texas on the day and time the driver stated it would, they exhibited the same professionalism and insisted the two movers hired locally do the same. Nothing major was damaged in the move here! This is very rare indeed and goes to the credibility of the movers representing your company during the loading process. I enjoyed working with your company from the time they arrived, to the time they finished unloading the truck here in Texas. I would indeed call this same crew to move me any place. Your company from the professionalism, caring attitude, and pleasant nature of the individuals, has been a pleasure to do business with.

Following recent passings within my family the time had come to liquidate the personal property and sell the house. This was no small undertaking as my family were ardent collectors of museum quality antiquities, some very large. To further complicate matters I am located out of state and, after forfeiting so much time at work caring for those I loved and lost, the hands on time I could spend at the house was very limited. I had one day to spare to get the move in place.
A little research (and maybe a little divine intervention from upstairs) I was fortunate enough to find New York Local Movers. My one day was spent with Fidel, whose professionalism and ability to grasp the state of affairs immediately put a blanket on the fire of a very stressful situation. I left the house with strong confidence that the right person was in place to handle the job. There is no way to discount this, as the articles to be moved were odd sized, extremely delicate, and very valuable (both in monetary and sentimental worth). My heritage was in his hands and I would not be there to hold them.
The following days my confidence was renewed. Fidel did his due diligence, finding the best resources to assist in the crating, returning to the house as needed, and keeping me completely informed about the process. He even had specific articles crated in wood that would be acceptable for travel to long distance if we decided to go that route, something I never would have thought of.
To keep things brief, the van arrived with Jim, O’Brien Michael and Driggs, who applied all of the care these belongings deserved. These men were nothing short of proficient, getting the job done without any concessions that would make it easier for them. At this point in my experience their professionalism came as no surprise.
It’s easy to write a letter when things go wrong but, in this case, it’s easier because it went so right. My thanks to Fidel, Jim, Mike and Winter. Somehow “good job” just doesn't cover it.

Do not judge a book by its cover, when I saw all those reviews I was little bit shock but I already give my deposit to New York Local Movers. I went to check some other movers is about same review good and bad but I said let me see for myself but my results came positive,
I had a huge move from MA to CA. New York Local Movers was incredible every step of the way. Their quote was right on, no surprises. Their packers were very careful, and at the same time, very kind and listened to all of my needs. Their movers on the pick up and delivery( which were right on time) were hard working, careful, considerate. Their unpackers were perfect. Nothing broken. I very rarely leave reviews, but for New York Local Movers, I had to. Also, everyone I spoke with at the main office, and the dispatchers, were nice, professional, and caring.
Moving can be so stressful, but New York Local Movers helped make it a much more pleasurable experience. Thank you New York Local Movers.

Another great move with New York Local Movers today (they should have a loyalty card).

Quesy, felipe and Odell called me 2 hours before the window of (1-4pm, which is great because I wanted the morning anyway!) and they came right over to my apartment. I wasn't even done packing and they offered to help with that too.

They took care of every box, carefully chose which ones went on the bottom, and wrapped every single piece of furniture in blankets and shrink wrap. I had stuff in the basement and they were able to navigate all of that with ease as well. Above all, they moved quickly! No stops for breaks or just standing around - the (3) of them cleared out my 600 sq ft apt in 90 minutes.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. They're always the most courteous and friendly movers and as long as I'm in the NYC area I will be a customer for life.

I'm. Writing this review due to the great customer service I received during this. This. Difficult time.. I was on hold for about 4 months before I even knew what state to go to. Once I was set. Alexandra was great she honored the price and once the guys where there they made sure to be fast and the move was smooth landing .joseph and his team are great my movers are very hard workers and for this reason I recommend them to my family and the world .. I received my items two weeks ago and just finished situating everything I'm very happy and relieved ..

New York Local Movers is hands down the best moving company I have used. I just used them for a move from Brooklyn to northern Jersey and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, promptness and speed of the team.

Alton (foreman) and his crew were super fast, thorough, and took care of our items. Our china was not harmed, furniture was good, and they even took apart and reassembled our bed. I would recommend them to everyone! Emly who was our original coordinator gave us a quote and stuck to it. She was also a great communicator in the days leading up to the move.

I have been back and fourth about moving to FL for about a year now. My mom moved a few years ago and it’s been really hard being in Jersey without family. I finally decided to just do it! I was contacted by New York Local Movers and spoke with Emily. She was very professional, by the time I got off the phone with her I knew step by step how the moving process would be like beginning to end. The day of the move I was so nervous, here I am moving to a new state, a whole new start. The supervisor of the crew was very nice, and so was the crew. He explained everything to me. I was very happy with the move. I would highly recommend them to anyone especially family!

It was my first move out of new york and the distance between new york to NM was something to worry about. I never wanted to repeat my previous moving experience with the other mover. I did a lot of research and finally decided on New York Local Movers. I was treated there with maximum attention and I got a very good deal as well.
